-Focusing on Breast milk active protein and Early Life Nutrition

Breast milk is the nutrition source in infants’ early life, it contains a variety of biologically active proteins and has a variety of physiological functions. Although the protein content and composition of the formula have been optimized, there are still differences compared to breast milk. Osteopontin is an immunologically active protein naturally present in breast milk that plays an important role in maintaining the immune function of infants.  LPN whey protein is a natural whey protein rich in osteopontin. Prof. Donovan said that a RCT clinical trial of a 6-month-old baby at the Pediatric Hospital affiliated to Fudan University found that, infants who fed with LPN whey protein formula, the incidence of fever, serum levels of pro-inflammatory factors (TNF-α), and T cells are all closer to breastfeeding infants, the overall feeding growth outcome was similar to breastfeeding infants too. It shows that the addition of LPN whey protein further optimizes the nutritional composition of infant formula powder, making its feeding effect closer to human milk.
