The evaluation on the 2015 BINC Programs Sponsored by Funds for Maternal and Child Nutrition &Care Research Fund Program has completed. A great number of research institutions across the country have actively responded to the invitation for program bids issued by BINC funds this January. By the deadline of the open bidding in May, a total of 34 research programs submitted their applications that covered all study areas required in the Bidding Guidelines. Through 3 rounds of critical review, including a formal examination, examination by letters, and the final assessment, the evaluation panel for funding programs consisted of domestic and foreign experts and specialists from a wide range of fields recruited by BINC, 5 programs won the funds with a total amount of RMB 100 million.
